Its funny, growing up I never really had chinese food even though I am asian. I’ve had korean food all the time, but never been to a chinese restaurant. But now, it is one of my favorite foods to eat out.

 Yesterday I took my girlfriend to Tumbleweed and the wait was horrible. Not the wait to get a table but the service. I absolutely hate that. As soon as we walked in the door, from 15 feet away we here, HOW MANY. I was like wow, can we at least get within speaking distance. And then we see tons of free tables, but she says it will be a 5-10 minute wait. I knew right there that this was going to be trouble. We waited like 20 minutes, just to order. I was so mad, I just said just get our check(we had drinks), we are out of here. I’ve never done that before, but have wanted to. They didn’t make us pay for our drinks. I was really proud of myself for doing that.

This whole fiasco made me want to open my resteraunt again. For the last two years my main business idea was opening a resteraunt, and I have planned it pretty well. Only recently I thought it would be better to start off smaller. Maybe my recent thinking has just been a waste.

 Anyway, back to her birthday, tonight we are going out to eat and hopefully I can make it special. She is really good at things like this, but I am not. She has been so great to me this week end, its been unbelievable. People say that, but I mean it. After my surgery she took completely care of me, and tried so hard for me. She is the sweetest person I know, and I need to be there for her also. Anyway, tonight should be simple but hopefully special.

Polemics (pronounced /pəˈlɛmɪks, poʊ-/) is the practice of disputing or controverting religious, philosophical, or political matters. As such, a polemic text on a topic is often written specifically to dispute or refute a topic that is widely viewed to be beyond reproach.

The antonym of a polemic source is an apologia.

There are other meanings of the word as well. Polemic is also a branch of theology, pertaining to the history or conduct of ecclesiastical controversy.

A word I want to remember.

I thought it would be interesting to list the shows I actually do watch, and why.

 The Office
My favorite show, maybe of all time. This is probably the only show, I never miss an episode of, and buy all of the DVD’s etc. Yeah, it is that good.

The Food Network.
I have always been a bit of a food weirdo, when I was a kid I wanted to be a chef. I rarely watch full episodes of anything on it, but I do watch a lot. Giada, Alton, and many others.

Top Chef
Top Chef is probably the one show I watch more then anything other then The Office. I don’t catch it when it first airs, but not to worry, Bravo replays every episode every week. And I do mean, every episode. It is a great show, with great chefs, and food I’ve never heard of. I even read to blogs occasionally.

Daily Show/Colbert Report
The shows I wish I watched regularly. These are some of the best shows on television. An awesome mix of funny and important stuff. Brilliant.

ESPN
Particularly at the gym, sort of the same way as food network.

Also, reruns of King of Queens and Ninja Warrior finish up 90 percent of the television I watch.

I do believe this was the catalyst. I read something today about taking action. I plan, and think, but I am not so much a man of action. This year has been different, I am becoming a man of action.

With the wedding, this surgery, moving out. Now, for the future. I need to make decisions, I need to. Not anyone else but me.

After this everything changes, moving out soon, taking the GMAT, trying to change jobs, getting in shape, getting married. THIS is the big catalyst. I will post as soon as I can.
